Micro pigmentation
Regrowth
Micro pigmentation procedure inserts organic pigment (SMP) into a scalp to give an illusion of a buzz cut. The contrast between the ink and scalp give the illusion of depth. An element of 3d dimensionality is added as if there was a hair stubble growing but there is no hair regrowth. You will still have the same number of hair follicles. More pigments can be inserted to give the appearance of higher hair density.
Ongoing treatment commitment
The number of hairstyles you can choose is limited. Constricted hairstyles should be avoided such as cornrows. Just leaving hair to grow long can affect visibility of the pigments. The longer the existing hair grows the more visible the pigments become. Wind blowing the hair can reveal there are only a few remaining strands of hair. You will need to constantly monitor your hair.
Complications
For the first couple days avoid hot temperatures otherwise the ink may liquefy and mix together. Don’t wash your head for a few days.
Reversible
Micro pigmentation can be removed with a laser. Pigments only reach the dermal layer.
Cost
The procedure will cost between £1000 to £3500 depending on the skill of the specialist.
